Why we started
Shelorve was built out of frustration with a pattern that repeated too many times. A consulting firm would arrive at a client, run workshops, produce documentation, and begin a transformation. Months later — always months later, never in week one — something would break that nobody had planned for. An undiscovered dependency. An integration that existed only in someone's institutional memory. A process that had been running since 2003 that everyone had long since forgotten about.
The remediation that followed always cost more — in time, in budget, and in organizational confidence — than it should have. And it was always avoidable. Over time, the question shifted from why does this keep happening to what would it take to build a firm where it doesn’t.
